It's nice to see her get away from her sometimes-tweedy Britishness on the red carpet. This is an unusually glam look for her. We love that it references classic Chanel while looking kind of slinky and modern. Yes, it does tend to read slightly mature - we can't help thinking Helen Mirren would rock the hell out of this - but it's kind of hard to call a skin-tight sequined dress "old-looking."If it didn't have that huge bejeweled...thing right in the center, we think it would look a little more youthful. We love those shoes but we don't think they were the right choice for this look. Other than that ... hair looks great, clutch looks appropriate, makeup just right. Your gay uncles give their seal of approval, honey. Go out and have fun. IN.
