With the Spring 2011 collections, a lot of designers decided simultaneously that big girl pants are all the rage.
Check it:
Monique Lhuillier, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch
Kinda free, kinda wow, Charlie.
We like, for the most part. As with any article of clothing, it's always going to be about making it work for you. Wide-legged pants mostly work on a variety of body types, but only so long as they're over a certain height. Generally speaking, the tiny gals should probably stay away from them. But if you're a taller gal or a curvy gal, they can work quite well provided the fit is perfect and they're paired well with other pieces. We give this a YEA because a pair of killer heels with a flattering pair of pants is an instantly and pretty much effortlessly classic chic look.
