The more we look at this, the more we really, really love it on her. It's a deceptively simple and low-key dress, but it still has an impact. Besides, simple and low-key were required for the occasion. That soft dove grey suits her and the bracelets dress it up just enough without being too showy or frivolous. But what really makes this stand out, for us, anyway, is the fit. She's had some issues finding the right fit for her and she doesn't always nail it. Compare this with the Marc Jacobs dress she wore last week. Exactly the same silhouette, but the fit makes all the difference in the world. You don't need a dress to be tight across your body in order to flatter and show off your assets. Better that it fits; that it comes in where it's supposed to and provides enough give for comfort and movement. Some will look at this and say it's too loose or boxy on her, but we disagree. She looks curvy and slim and the dress fits her just right; not too tight and not too loose. It does everything for her that it's supposed to. And she ditched the belt! We can't applaud that move enough.
