Super Shiny Hair For $10

My girl, Beth Shapouri, over at Glamour Magazine has ridiculously shiny hair. But she'll be the first person to admit that she has a drugstore product, and not good genes, to thank for her lustrous locks.

"The question I get asked most by Girls in the Beauty Department readers - hands down - is what I use on my hair to get it to shine. The answer was, is and, for the foreseeable future, will be a product that costs about $10. It's pretty straightforward: I just slather it on every few days and it leaves behind a layer of shine that wears away over a couple of shampoos. But there are a few things I'd warn you to take into consideration here. It can weigh down fine hair, so it's not for everyone. If you're using the colored ones (to amp up your hue), you have to rinse your palms immediately or they'll get stained. And some hair types can handle it more often than others, so you have to experiment to find your magic number of days - use it too often and it'll change the texture of your hair slightly (but not permanently)."

Thanks for the tip, Beth!
