Wanna Quickie?!

My quickie here will done in 10 minutes but I am referring to 10 Minutes Quickie Make Up when you in rush. What you have been thinking?! Come back! Don't think too much! I suppose everyone of us have your own version of "quickie make up". There are certain make up I can't live without even though I am in a rush. You will have your own as well, I believe. Mine will be foundation, brow and mascara. Why these three?!

Foundation helps to even out my skin tone and cover up my "ugliness". I am so fake! :p

Brow helps to frame the entire face. Trust me a define brows you will look more like a human and not some kind of alien. I always informed the beautician/MUA don't overdo my brow, let it be natural. I don't like thin eye brows!

As for eye lashes, it's our weapon! Eye lash is the "curtain" for your eyes so you have to open up the curtain to reveal your eyes. Hence mascara will be the right weapon to open up the 'curtain'.

Talk so much! Let's see my version of Quickie Make Up. Alright, not exactly 10 minutes, normally I finish it around 10 to 15 minutes.

#1. Start with a fresh face.

I am using Shu Uemura Deep Sea water to freshen up my face before I apply the foundation. Just spray it on my face and pat softly using a cotton pad.

My bare face!

#2. Concealer.

I have a severe dark under eyes. I said severe, trust me if you complaining you have panda eyes caused of not enough sleep, you still have some good eyes product to help you get rid of it but mine was BORN TO BE like that!!!

To cover that I used Shu Uemura Mark Cealer. It's actually concealer for acne mark or pore but I mainly use it to cover my dark under eye. The texture is watery and spread easily. As long as you don't over apply, you won't have any caking issue.

Use a concealer brush to spread the product.

#3. Foundation.

The most important part, this is to even out your skin tone. I need more coverage so I used Shu Uemura Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation.

Just a pea size of the product and it will provide me the right amount coverage. I normally spread the product over my face on the forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Then use a sponge to spread it evenly. Avoid my under eyes area because I don't want to rub off those concealer have put on earlier. If you going for an outdoor activity please use a makeup base with SPF before you apply foundation!

Now this is my face with the foundation.

#4. Set your foundation.

I am using Shu Uemura Face Powder Matte.

Face powder will help to set your makeup and pro-long the staying power of the makeup. What I am using is loose powder form, so what I usually do is use the powder puff to press the face powder on my face including the eye area. Then use a face brush to stroke the face gently to let the loose powder cover all areas evenly.

#5. Define the eyebrow.

I mainly use 2 type of eyebrows product now.

First, draw my brow with eyebrows pencil and I use Shu Uemura Eyebrow Pencil. Define my eyebrow shape first.

Then I set my brow with M.A.C Brow Set. I need this mainly because I need a lighter eyebrow color to match my light hair color which I dye last month.

#6. Eye shadow.

I use a light e/s color to highlight my entire eyelid. Here I am using Shiseido PN duo eye shadow, using the golden shade for the highlighting purposes. This line has been discontinue and has been replaced by Shiseido Maquillage.

Then use a darker color eye shadow on the entire eyelid crease. I am using RMK Jelly Eye Color. It's in cream form so I use my finger tip to apply the product. You can use the sponge tip applicator to do the job as well.

Nah…my face with concealer, foundation, brow and eye shadow.

#7. Eye Lash.

Use your favorite eye lash curler to curl you eye lash. Why your favorite eye lash curler?! So that you won't hurt yourself when you are in rush! Each brand of eye lash curler has their unique curve! I always need some time to find the right angle to use an eye lash curler, when I am not use to it, I tense to accidently hurt my eyelid. That's painful! Or you can do it before you apply eye shadow too.

I am using Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler.

Then use the mascara to open up the "curtain" of your eyes! I am using my favorite mascara – Lancome Oscillation Mascara.

#8. Blush.

I am using Majolica Majorca blush.

Apply the blush on your cheek to enhance the natural glow of cheeks. Remember to tap off any excess before you put your blush brush on your cheek! You don't want a clown face, don't' you?

Tips, you can brush a little amount of blush on your forehead if you look pale, for me I will apply the blush right after I apply blush on my cheeks, use the left over blush on the brush.

#9. Lip

I don't like lipstick, I don't know why. Hence, I use lip gloss or lip tint most of the time. I am using Bobbi Brown Lip Tint with SPF 15.

Then DONE! This is the final look. I don't lie this is the outcome of my quickie makeup in 10 minutes time, if i didn't take photos for this post. 10 minutes makes a lot of differences!

Remember, this is my version of quickie, you might have yours and it might be different as well. Share with me!!!

Don't forget to put on your favorite perfume before you go out. Mine will be Britney Spear latest perfume – Circus!

Phew…long post! Done! 打完收工!

Love,

Joey
